Senior Technical Authority – Offshore Energy / CCS Project
For a major offshore energy transition project in the Netherlands, we are looking for experienced Senior Technical Authorities across multiple disciplines.
We are seeking professionals in:
Instrument & Control
Electrical (non-HV)
Structural (offshore)
Process Engineering
Mechanical / Pressure Vessels / Valves
Material Integrity & Corrosion
Marine
About the assignment
This assignment is focused on supporting a complex offshore infrastructure project during a critical stage towards safe operations. The selected professionals will play an important role in technical integrity, discipline assurance, documentation review and approval, safety case support, commissioning, start-up and the early operational phase.
Key responsibilities
Act as Technical Authority for your discipline
Support technical integrity and lifecycle assurance
Review and approve discipline-specific technical documentation
Interface with internal stakeholders, suppliers and regulatory bodies
Support risk assessments, safety case activities and barrier management
Provide technical advice during commissioning and start-up
Troubleshoot discipline-related issues
Support knowledge transfer and mentoring of in-house personnel
Profile
You are a senior professional with:
15+ years of relevant experience in offshore / Oil & Gas / energy projects
A solid technical background in one of the listed disciplines
Previous experience in Technical Authority, technical assurance, integrity or similar senior specialist roles
Experience in both design and operational phases of offshore assets
Strong communication skills in English
Dutch language skills are an advantage
Experience in CCS is highly preferred
Project details
Location: Rotterdam area, the Netherlands
Duration: approximately 12 months
Workload: initially expected to be full-time or near full-time, decreasing over time
Start: as soon as possible
Work model: primarily site/office based, with limited remote flexibility possible
