Lead and safeguard high-voltage offshore electrical works on a major wind farm project

Introduction

For an offshore wind project, OCRE Offshore Services is looking for an experienced Offshore Nominated Person Responsible (NPA) to oversee electrical activities during the infield cables termination & testing campaign on the offshore wind farm.

In this key role, you will act on behalf of the contractor as the officially assigned NPA, ensuring all electrical works are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Your role

As Offshore Nominated Person Responsible, you are formally appointed by the NPI (Nominated Person Responsible for the Electrical Installation) and take responsibility for the safe execution of offshore high-voltage works.

Your responsibilities include:

• Acting as the officially assigned NPA for offshore HV termination and testing works
• Executing works, activities and responsibilities in accordance with NEN-EN 50110 and NEN 3840
• Ensuring assigned equipment is used in an optimal technical manner
• Safeguarding compliance with safety, maritime and environmental regulations at all times
• Assisting with electrical works and monitoring quality and progress
• Communicating directly with the NPI
• Coordinating closely with the Offshore Electrical Engineer (QC)
• Supporting a safe and controlled working environment during the T&T campaign

You will work in a 2-weeks on / 2-weeks off rotation, embarking and disembarking in the Port of IJmuiden.

The project is scheduled to start between 15–20 March 2026 and is expected to run until mid-July 2026, subject to progress and final planning confirmation.

Who are we looking for?

We welcome professionals who have:

• Proven experience as NPA or in a similar HV responsible role offshore
• Strong knowledge of NEN-EN 50110 and NEN 3840
• Experience with HV termination and testing campaigns
• Valid offshore certificates (GWO, offshore medical, Chester Step)
• VCA-VOL (required for OHVS access)
• Excellent communication skills and a structured working approach
• A strong safety mindset and leadership capabilities
