Overview

OCRE is hiring an experienced Ship Mechanic with MTU experience. As an all-round boat mechanic, you find it fascinating to carry out varied and technical work on various ships.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 4 weeks

Focus Activities

• Maintenance of engines and ships.
• Assessing repair requests for the ship.
• Carrying out and correctly completing scheduled maintenance in Marad.
• Research into malfunctions in diesel engines.
• Specify required parts.
• Passing on orders to the purchasing department.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills in English.
• Have completed a technical education or equivalent through experience.
• Have basic knowledge of engines, pumps, hydraulics, generators, electricity, etc.
• Have experience in the maritime industry is a plus.
• Experience with MTU engines is a plus.
