Ship's Electrician / Engineer

Client: Our client is active as a service operator for off-shore operations and is skilled as main contractor for large E/I construction projects on board of all kind of vessels, offshore installations or offshore power plants.
Location: Randstad (Vlissingen/ Rotterdam/ Amsterdam)
Job: Self-employed or/and company employment
In this position you maintain and repair on-board electrical installations within a variety of offshore constructions, vessels and plants during port repairs or voyage repairs. Do you have a passion for rotary equipment systems from switchboard to motor and everything in between then this is your change to work within a compact company were service comes first.
Maintain and repair electrical installations such as main switchboards, generators, AC/DC motors.
Installation of electrical components.
Commissioning of E/I systems.
Problem solving within E/I systems.
Ideal candidate profile
At least a secondary or higher vocational qualification or equivalent by experience.
Preferably a seaman’s book, valid medical certification, and a basic safety certificate.
Minimum of 5 years work experience.
Flexible, stress-resistant, and ability to work independently.
Fluent Dutch and English in word and writing.
Good communication skills (and personality)
Able to communicate with our clients.
Sense of practical safety.
Willing to take on responsibility.
Willing to travel.
