Project SHE-Q Manager

In this role, you will inspire and guide project team members in implementing our Safety programs, as well as the SHE-Q Management System (MS) on projects. You'll play a key role in fostering relationships both internally and externally, translating the priorities of our client, and there subcontractors, into actionable plans. A people- and risk-focused mindset is essential. Your goal is to create and maintain a collaborative work environment where project teams and clients connect and align.

Responsibilities

As Project SHE-Q Manager, your key responsibilities include:

Establishing the project SHE-Q MS and managing essential processes, including risk management, incident/NCR management, and SHE-Q-related training, ensuring alignment with clients and subcontracters. Monitoring and reporting the progress of SHE-Q plans in accordance with contract agreements and OCRE standards, including KPIs. Coordinating and conducting verification audits and inspections, including those for subcontractors, with a risk-based approach that goes beyond checklists. Building and leading a Project SHE-Q team and contributing to subcontractor management and supplier relationships. Your Qualities and Experience

You are an ideal candidate for the Project SHE-Q Manager role if you have:

A minimum of five years’ experience in SHE-Q management, preferably within a marine or maritime environment. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. A passion for SHE-Q management and the ability to engage and motivate others. Experience in setting up and managing a SHE-Q project organization. Strong auditing, incident investigation, and process-oriented skills. The ability to reduce the administrative workload for the project team. Excellent training, writing, and investigation skills. Willingness to work on-site for up to six weeks at a time, followed by four weeks off. What You Can Expect

Additional Information

Team: Join the Subsea Cables SHE-Q team, which includes up to 12 colleagues. Workplace: For office-based roles, you can work both from home and the office. You will also travel to project sites periodically. Full-time Role: The position is full-time (40 hours per week). On project sites, you will work 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week.
